The Scheme provides financial support to women aged 25-60 enrolled in ‘Swasthya Sathi.’ Women from SC/ST families receive ₹1,200 per month, while other beneficiaries receive ₹1,000 per month.

How To Apply For The Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme:
Step 1: Applicants can obtain the application form free of charge at Duare Sarkar Camps. Once completed and signed, the form should be submitted at any Duare Sarkar Camp along with self-attested copies of the required documents.
Step 2: After submission, government officials authorized for this purpose will conduct an inquiry based on Duare Sarkar protocols. Following verification, the applications will be entered into the portal by either the Block Development Officer in rural areas or the Sub-Divisional Officer in urban areas. They will then verify and recommend eligible applicants to the District Magistrate for approval.
(Note: In the Kolkata Municipal Corporation area, this process will be managed by the Commissioner of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.)
Step 3: The Commissioner of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation will serve as the sanctioning authority for applicants within the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. For all other areas, the District Magistrate will take on this role.
Step 4: Approved financial assistance will be disbursed monthly via Direct Bank Transfer (DBT) to the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of eligible adult female members of the household.
